It gives me immense pleasure to extend my warm greetings and wish you and members of your family a very happy and prosperous new year. The dedication, sincerity and the commitment towards duty exhibited by all of you has immensely enhanced the image of the force.  2009 has been an eventful year for CISF, during the year we have been given newer responsibilities by the government which is a result of the confidence and faith the country has put in our professional competence. This was also the year in which a record number of CISF personnel gave the supreme sacrifice. 

We can never forget their courageous act which brought laurels for the organization. 2010 is going to be a very challenging year yet again, with the increased threat scenario and as protectors of the economic infrastructure of the country; we have to adopt a philosophy to be vigilant every day, regardless of the security threat level. It is important to note that we need more involvement now than we might have in the past and I am sure that the dedication and commitment of our men will continue to carry the banner of protection and security to the people of our country. 

I once again wish you and members of your family a very happy and prosperous new year.
