Welcome to "Sanrakshika"  CISF Wives Welfare Association

A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it:   George Moore.

It is with a sense of great pride and happiness that I have taken over as President, "Sanrakshika".

"Sanrakshika" is of recent origin and was established in Aug'2014.  Despite this, the strides which it has taken to give a new dimension and fillip to welfare activities in CISF,  is truly commendable.  The  myriad schemes and measures, which "Sanrakshika" has undertaken over the last few years, are of great relevance, both, in  their essence and reach- like career counseling for the wards, self defence  classes, reaching out to specially abled children,  merit awards for excellence in sports and academics, cultural &  sports activities for the families, environmental awareness,, heritage and cultural awareness  among the families, honing literary skills via "Sanrakshika" Udyaan magazine,  skill development etc.  Besides this, the association, also, has contributed to the society by setting up Night Shelters ("Rein-Basera") in hospitals in Delhi, distribution of winter clothing and books & toys to the needy persons/children.

The focus of "Sanrakshika" in the following months will be on "Wellness" of the families, which will be achieved through professional counseling, yoga & meditation and interactive medical sessions.

Another critical area of concern will be the education of the wards of CISF personnel. It shall be my continuous and persistent endeavor to enhance the educational facilities and I shall   leave no stone unturned in facilitating and supporting the educational needs of our children. Children and youth, as we all know, are the backbone of our society and nation.

"Sanrakshika" will continue its journey of fulfillment with a few fundamental mottos: from words to action, from self-serving to self-giving, from tradition to unity with diversity and, most importantly, from me to us.

Needless to say, "Sanrakshika" will reach greater heights only with the involvement and support of each "Sanrakshika" member. In this, I appeal to you all to come forward selflessly and courageously, for achieving pinnacles of success.

There is an inherent sacredness of the creator and nurturer in each of us, "Sanrakshika" member.  Let us use this to support our brave men in uniform and march by their side, shoulder to shoulder! And yes, while doing so, let us also realize our own potential and complete ourselves because each of us knows that there exist limitless possibilities.

 Thank you!

                                                                                  (Neelam Singh)
