RECRUIT TRAINING CENTRE, MUNDALI(ORISSA)

Recruit Training Centre, Mundali is a newly established training institute of CISF. Initially, it was established in the township of Paradip Port Trust. The final shifting of this RTC from Paradip to Mundali has been carried out in the last week of September, 2002. This Recruit Training Centre is located in between Cuttack and Bhubaneswar i.e. 15 kms. away from Cuttack and 20 kms. from Bhubaneswar on Banki Highway. A Disaster Management Unit/Reserve Battalion has also been located adjacent to the RTC Compound. .It is an ideal hilly place for training especially for the field craft and Police Tactics and is free from pollution with tropical climate. The place is well connected with Rail & Air.

RTC, Mundali is headed by an officer of the rank of Additional Dy. Inspector General. It has a training capacity of 500 trainees at any given point of time.
