Sanrakshika is a significant component of CISF and I feel honoured to shoulder the responsibility of President “Sanrakshika”. I am aware about the challenges which our CISF families face, while their spouses are away on duty to different parts of the country. Our prime focus should be to create a positive environment for the CISF families.

Sanrakshika“, has an illustrious history of contributing for the wholesome development of the families including career counseling for the wards, merit awards for excellence in sports and academics, financial assistance to specially abled children, cultural & sports activities for the families and providing a platform of opportunities through skill development centres etc. Besides, “Sanrakshika” has also helped a large number of needy people by setting up Night Shelters (“Rein-Basera”) in hospitals, distribution of warm clothings during winter and visit to old age homes and orphanages. Many of our member have found “Sanrakshika Udyaan” magazine as useful medium to express their ideas and issues related to women.

I believe that while Women Empowerment means financial independence, it also stands for confidence in your own abilities or judgements. My priority would be to broaden our members’ horizon and focus on all round development of families. Needless to say, “Sanrakshika” will reach greater heights only with greater involvement and support of each “Sanrakshika” member.

Let us join our hands together in order to create a progressive and productive environment in the Force. I am sure that together we shall continue to strive to achieve new heights.
